ChineseJournalofCatalysis41(2020)503–513催化学报2020年第41卷第3期|www.cjcatal.orgavailableatwww.sciencedirect.comjournalhomepage:www.elsevier.com/locate/chnjcArticle2D/2Dtype-IICu2ZnSnS4/Bi2WO6heterojunctionstopromotevisible-light-drivenphoto-FentoncatalyticactivityLiGuo,KailaiZhang,XuanxuanHan,QiangZhao,YuanyuanZhang,MianQi,DanjunWang*,FengFu#ShaanxiKeyLaboratoryofChemicalReactionEngineering,CollegeofChemistry&ChemicalEngineering,Yan’anUniversity,Yan’an716000,Shaanxi,ChinaARTICLEINFOABSTRACTArticlehistory:Received6August2019Accepted23September2019Published5March2020Inthiswork,asetofnovelCu2ZnSnS4/Bi2WO6(CZTS/BWO)two-dimensional(2D)/two-dimensional(2D)type-IIheterojunctionswithdifferentCZTSweightratios(1%,2%,and5%)weresuccessfullysynthesizedviaabriefsecondarysolvothermalprocess.Thesuccessfulfor-mationoftheheterojunctionswasaffirmedbycharacterizationmethodssuchasX-rayphotoelec-tronspectroscopyandhigh-resolutiontransmissionelectronmicroscopy.Thephotocatalyticactivi-tyresultsshowedthatthepreparedCZTS/BWOheterojunctionshadexcellentphotocatalyticbe-haviorsfororganicdegradation,especiallywhenthemassfractionofCZTSwithrespecttoBWOinthecompositewas2%.Moreover,theadditionofhydrogenperoxide(H2O2)couldfurtherimprovethedyeandantibioticdegradationefficiencies.Thereinforcedphotocatalyticandphoto-FentondegradationperformancewereprimarilyattributabletotheintroductionofBWO,whichaffordedincreasedactivesites,expandedthesolarspectralresponserange,andacceleratedthecycleofCu(II)/Cu(I);afterfourcyclingtimes,itscatalyticactivitydidnotdecreasesignificantly.Inaddition,reasonablehypothesesofthephotocatalyticandphoto-Fentoncatalyticmechanismswereformu-lated.Thisstudyisexpectedtoprovideavisualapproachfordesigninganovelphoto-Fentoncata-lysttojointlyutilizethephotocatalyticandFentonactivities,whichcanbebetterappliedtothepurificationofresidualorganicsinwastewater.©2020,DalianInstituteofChemicalPhysics,ChineseAcademyofSciences.PublishedbyElsevierB.V.Allrightsreserved.Keywords:Cu2ZnSnS4Bi2WO62D/2Dtype-IIheter
