经高能量激光破碎后CDOM的性质CharacterizationofColoredDissolvedOrganicMatterUsingHigh-EnergyLaserFragmentationJENNIFERR.BOEHME*ANDPAULAG.COBLEDepartmentofMarineScience,UniversityofSouthFlorida,1407thAvenueSouth,St.Petersburg,Florida33701Anewapproachcombininghigh-energylaserfragmentation(HELF)withexcitation-emissionmatrixspectroscopy(EEMS)wasusedtostudycoloreddissolvedorganicmaterial(CDOM)inriversfeedingtheTampaBayEstuary.Resultspresentedasdifferencespectrashowedthatfluorescentmaterialdestroyedhadtwodistinctpeaksforallsamplesatalldegradationwavelengthsof320nmorgreater.AllsamplesshowedhighestlossofUV-C(220-280nm)stimulatedfluorescence,evenwhenirradiatedat390nm,withlowerlossofUV-B(280-320nm)stimulatedfluorescencecenteredaroundthewavelengthusedfordegradation.Incontrasttospectrafortheinitialandresidualfingerprints,lossspectrashowedtheroundedcontoursexpectedforapureorganicfluorophore.Theseobservationssuggestthatlaserirradiationtargetsaspecificfluorophoreorrestrictedgroupoffluorophoresintheoriginalmixture
